Our Story

ABOUT LA POISSONNERIE

Sybile and Herve Blanes founded the company Viet Phap Hai San in 2014.
The first shop was located in HCMC, Thao Dien, 31 Tong Huu Dinh street.

In May 2018, they moved the shop to a new location, 39 Thao Dien street, under the brand "La Poissonnerie",
"The Fishmonger’s shop" in French.

In July 2020, they opened a new outlet in District 1, shop & restaurant.

HISTORY

Herve has 40 years experience in the seafood business and has been criss-cross Vietnam since 1994 to buy and export the best Vietnamese seafood to Europe.

In October 2012, Herve & his family moved to Vietnam to develop their export business.

​

In 2014, Sybile & Herve decided to develop in HCMC the concept of seafood shop & restaurant they created in 2004 in South of France.

OUR PROCESS

From The Boat To Your Plate

Purchases : By using our network in Vietnam, we established a strong partnership with fishermen and factories from Da Nang down to Ca Mau.

In some fishing ports, we have staff buying seafood on arrival. All products are selected under our specification.


Packing: We attach great importance to the packing of our products before transportation to HCMC, in order to preserve freshness and quality.

Logistic: From the fishing port to your place, we organized a logistic to have a total control of the cold chain.

​

Quality Control: Our production manager controls all arrivals, with all the rigor and attention essential to guarantee « the Best from the Sea ».
